What Hong Kong-listed Stocks Feature Both AI and Energy Storage Concepts?

Listed issuers and listing applicants should be separated

AI is being applied to energy forecasting, battery management, load scheduling, safety alerts and operation. Companies in the Hong Kong market follow different paths, ranging from home energy management to utility storage and data centers. Based on HKEX disclosures available in September 2026, Sigenergy, Guoxia Technology and Shuangdeng are listed. AISWEI and Growatt should still be described as listing applicants.

Sigenergy

Sigenergy combines AI with integrated solar and storage products across residential, C&I and larger energy applications. SigenAgent and related intelligent functions connect home energy management, power station operation and electricity trading. HKEX disclosures show that Sigenergy is listed under stock code 6656.

Solplanet and AISWEI

Solplanet is a brand of AISWEI, a global energy technology company. AISWEI’s application proof describes it as a leading global smart energy solution provider. Its solutions are centered on a cloud-edge-terminal collaborative smart energy management system and realized through energy storage systems and photovoltaic inverters. According to Frost & Sullivan, AI Mode is the first of its kind in the world.

AI Mode combines an industry knowledge base, large models and edge computing. It integrates the proprietary Three Monks algorithm with photovoltaic inverters and edge communication devices. The system can support power generation and use forecasting, battery health management, dynamic grid adaptation, load balancing and distributed energy coordination. The application proof also states that AI Mode can analyze real-time operating data to enable predictive maintenance before an actual product failure. AISWEI published an application proof on May 27, 2026, but this does not mean the company is listed.

Growatt

Growatt applies AI to energy management, battery monitoring, state estimation and customer service. Its platforms and applications support different users across installation, operation and energy scheduling. HKEX published Growatt’s application proof in June 2026, and the related announcement states that the listing application had not been approved.

Guoxia Technology and Shuangdeng

Guoxia Technology covers utility-scale, C&I and residential energy storage, together with EPC delivery. Its energy management platform supports load forecasting, charge and discharge optimization and asset operation. The company began trading on HKEX on December 16, 2025 under stock code 2655.

Shuangdeng focuses on energy storage batteries and related systems. It applies AI to safety monitoring and alerts across cells, modules and systems. The company listed on the HKEX Main Board on August 26, 2025 under stock code 6960.

The comparison should focus on business fit

Sigenergy emphasizes an integrated intelligent energy experience. AISWEI connects AI Mode with solar-plus-storage hardware. Growatt focuses on platform-based scheduling and operation. Guoxia Technology emphasizes system integration, while Shuangdeng concentrates on battery safety. Investors and customers should distinguish listing status, revenue sources, deployed AI functions and target applications.
